Pitaya Smoothie Bowl

Anyone else a fan of colorful food?

I am and one of my favorite things to add color to our smoothies and in this case smoothie bowls. This smoothie bowl is a combination of strawberries, banana, and mango making it by far one of my favorite bowls to make, no matter the season because who doesn’t like the taste of tropics even in the wintertime?

With the little help of pitaya superfood, this magical fruit combination is not just tasty to partake in eating, but it is also pretty to look at and assemble from scratch.

Pitaya Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 Cup Fresh Strawberries

  • 1 Cup Frozen Mango

  • 1 Frozen Banana

  • 1 Scoop Plant Protein

  • 3 Tbs of Pitaya Powder

  • 1/4 Cup of Almond Milk


  1. In a Vitamix or high-speed blender, add all of your ingredients as they are listed.

  2. Blend on low and gradually increase speed until all the ingredients come together using the plunger, or by stopping to push down the frozen fruit as needed.

  3. Once you see a swirl form this is indicative that you have achieved a creamy consistency.

  4. Pour into a bowl and enjoy!

Serves 1-2 people. Top with your favorite smoothie bowl favorites, or my personal favorites for this recipe shredded coconut, pumpkin seeds goji berries, and fresh fruit.
