Crispy Sweet Potato Wedges

Updated: Mar 29

French fries made me do it…

No seriously.

I am someone that is as in love with fries as the next person, but the delicious fries of the past only ever gave me more problems than positive experiences, so I came up with these instead.

What do you need?

It’s simple. Sweet potatoes, salt + pepper, some love, obviously… and an oven.

They are exactly what you want in an alternative to your usual fast food option, but believe me they are so much better!

That and they are a guilt free anytime you please munch, packed with nutrients that help your body, not hurt it. Needless to say, they always render me happy and satisfied, and my sensitive gut is now a thing of the past when it comes to enjoying food I love.

They are a heart healthy alternative, they are full of ingredients that work for your body, not against it and they are just delicious!

WARNING: These are deliciously addictive in every way, prepare yourself 😉

  2. Wash and slice two medium sweet potatoes, cutting them longways in half, then proceeding to make long slices down each half until you have your wedges.

  4. On one or two sheet pans lined with parchment paper place your ready-to-go fries with even space between them for optimal crisp.

  5. Cook for 30-40 minutes, keeping them in the oven for 30-35 minutes.

  6. Serve with my Basil Side Sauce or with sauces or dips of choosing!
